Kaiwhata Walk is open all year and is one of New Zealand's private tramping, walking tracks. It is a series of 3 unique bush walks that begin in the Ngahape valley near the headwaters of the Kaiwhata River. Two walks are 4-6 hour tramps (options apply) and a third is only 1-2 hours.
